About Us

About Us

Jim Manser, Director of Manser Fire and Marine commenced operation in Western Australia in May 2010.

The primary function of the company is to identify the cause of a fire, including how and why it spread, particularly where the fire development and progression was unusual or unexpected, and to provide our Clients with a report detailing the findings.

Manser Fire and Marine can also assist in identifying the root cause of the fire to assist Clients with statutory reporting and/or prevention of further occurrences.

Reporting

We can contact you from the site (or as soon as mobile phone access available) to provide a verbal update on our preliminary findings from the scene examination.

A preliminary update can be provided within 24 – 48 hours of the scene examination via email.

A detailed report can be provided within 14 days of finalising our site examination and further investigations.

We will undertake preliminary screening of the fire scene by an electronic device (PID) to maximise detection of deliberately lit fires and eliminate unnecessary and expensive sample testing. If required we can arrange testing of any samples taken and provide a copy of the scientific analysis with our report.

Test Burns and Experimental Burns can be conducted to confirm hypothesis.

Liaison with relevant Police & Fire Service Officers will be undertaken where necessary.

Insurances

Professional Liability and Public Liability insurances are in place and a copy of the Certificate of Currency can be provided on request.
