To always act with honesty, integrity, objectivity and impartiality, and declare at the earliest opportunity any personal, business and/or financial interest that could be perceived as a conflict of interest.

Provide expert advice and evidence only within the limits of my professional competence.

Take all reasonable steps to maintain and develop my professional competence, taking account of material research and developments within the relevant field.

Establish the integrity and continuity of exhibits as they come into my possession and ensure these are maintained whilst in my possession.

Seek access to exhibits and information that may have a significant impact on my findings.

Be prepared to review any reports if any new information or developments are identified that would significantly impact on my findings.

Preserve confidentiality unless the law instructs differently or a client explicitly authorizes disclosure.
